Privacy Policy and Impressum-Legal Notice

Privacy Policy: The protection of your personal data is of particular concern to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the statutory provisions (DSGVO, TKG 2003). In this data protection information we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing within the framework of our website.

Contact with us: If you contact us via form on the website or via e-mail, the data you provide will be stored by us for six months in order to process your enquiry and in the event of queries. We do not pass on this data without your consent.

Cookie Policy: Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your end device with the help of the browser. They do not cause any damage. We use cookies to make our offer user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them. They enable us to recognise your browser the next time you visit. If you do not wish this, you can set up your browser so that it informs you when cookies are set and you only allow this in individual cases. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of our website may be restricted.

Online booking request: If you send us an online request regarding a booking, your data will be forwarded to our office and recorded in our booking system. The following data will be collected from you for this purpose: Name, address, date of birth, email, telephone number, clinic ward of the patient, family relationship with the patient, length of stay. This happens on the legal basis of the overnight stay contract, which you enter by your stay here, as well as from the obligation to register according to the Austrian registration law § 2 Abs 1. The hospital ward of the patient and the family relationship, represent the basis for your overnight stay in Marienheim and are therefore in the legitimate interest of the Marienheim Foundation. If you make a room reservation and cancel it before checking in, the data collected will be deleted unless older bookings already exist. Bookings that have already been made will be kept for 7 years within the statutory time limits and then deleted. Since the above-mentioned data are necessary for the conclusion of the contract and there is a legal obligation to collect them, we would like to point out to you that no overnight stay contract can be concluded without the provision of this data. Your data will not be processed by the Marienheim Foundation for other purposes. We would also like to draw your attention to your right of correction or deletion, as well as the restriction of processing and your right to object to this processing. Furthermore, you have the right to be informed by the person responsible about the processing of your personal data. As person concerned, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority - in Austria this is the data protection authority.

Your rights: as a matter of principle, you have the right of information, correction, deletion, restriction, data transferability, revocation and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or your data protection claims have otherwise been violated in any way, you can complain to the supervisory authority. In Austria this is the data protection authority. You can reach us at the contact details given in the disclosure (see above).
